These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of services and goods by you (the customer or you) from Write like a Grrr (the supplier, us or we). These are the terms under which all goods and services are sold. You can only purchase goods and services from the website (www.writelikeagrrrl.com) if you are at least eighteen years old, and have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Basis of Sale
The description of goods and services on the website does not constitute a contractual offer to sell the services or goods. When an order is received through the website, we reserve the right to reject it for any reason.
The order process is set out on the website. Each step allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting the error. It is your responsibility to check you have used the ordering process correctly.
Cancellations & Refund Policy
We strictly do not accept cancellations or offer any refunds under any circumstance.
Tickets to events, workshops and retreats are transferable, but this must be done in advance and with our explicit permission and approval. If you wish to transfer your place at a course, workshop or retreat to someone else, you must contact us (email@example.com). This option is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any workshop, course, retreat, event, or 1:1 session, should exceptional circumstances require us to do so.
If exceptional circumstances require us to cancel or postpone any workshop, event, retreat in-person or online event, course or 1:1 session, we will work with you to book you onto an equivalent future event. No refunds will be given and any payment plan agreed to will still need to be complied with, if this happens.
All advertised programmes for events, workshops or retreats are subject to change. We reserve the right to change advertised programmes and content of events (including but not limited to named performers, speakers and/or workshop facilitators) without notice. By booking a place to an event, workshop or retreat, you confirm you understand this and agree that no refunds will be given on this basis.
Community & Content Policy
Sexism, racism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, (dis)ableism or prejudice based on ethnicity, nationality, class, gender, gender presentation, body size or shape, language ability, asylum status, employment status or religious affiliation are against our core values, and will not be tolerated at our courses, retreats or workshops. By attending our events you agree to be bound by this policy.
We reserve the right to uphold this policy by actions including but not limited to: refusing admittance to events, workshops or retreats; asking people judged to be in violation of this policy to leave; and restricting access to future courses, retreats or workshops. No refunds will be given, and team members’ judgement and decisions in this are final.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to events to latecomers.
If there has been an agreement that you may pay by installments, you must pay each installment in full by the installment payment date. If you miss an installment payment, then you agree that all amounts under this agreement become due and owing and must be paid within 72 hours at a maximum, without off-set, counterclaim or delay. If any payment dates are not met, we reserve the right to cancel this agreement. No refund or credit will be given and you will still be responsible for the full payment amount.
If you miss an installment payment and the amount owing is not paid immediately (72 hours maximum), you understand a third party collection service will be engaged to retrieve balance owing until it is the amount is paid in full.
Discount codes, promotional codes or coupons cannot be used more than once. Only one code or discount can be used a time. Sharing discount codes or promotional offers is not permitted.
Pre-sale purchases have no guaranteed release or shipping date. Any description of the item and/or any date whereby release or ship date is described is an estimation only. Please ensure the email firstname.lastname@example.org is ‘whitelisted’ so updates on orders can be provided. It is your responsibility to ensure we have the correct contact and shipping details.
In no event shall we be responsible or liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations hereunder arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond our control, including, but not limited to: strikes, work stoppages, accidents, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, nuclear or natural catastrophes, pandemics or acts of God, and interruptions, loss or malfunctions of utilities, communications or computer (software and hardware) services.
If any services under this agreement need to be postponed or cancelled in these circumstances, we will notify you as soon as we can of any postponement, alternative dates or cancellation, should it be applicable.
Our in-person workshops, retreats and courses are held in locations that we trust, but please make sure that you have your own insurance to cover you in the unlikely event of damage or loss of property or personal injury when attending our events or workshops or retreats, as we will not be responsible for any such damage or costs.
We shall not be held responsible for any costs incurred related to attendees’ travel, accommodation or other expenses related to our events, including any events which are cancelled, postponed or changed.
To the extent permitted by law, we and our people shall not be liable for any damages, costs or losses whatsoever arising as a result of attending our events or workshops or retreats.

Should any liability attach, despite the clauses above, to the extent permitted by law, our liability and the liability of our people under this agreement shall not exceed the total aggregate amount you have paid for our services or training or retreat or event or product.
We do not make any guarantees as to the accuracy or quality of any third-party information or services provided to you on our platforms or during our courses or events, or linked to on our platforms / courses / sites / pages. You agree that we will not be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, refunds, costs or any other matters of any sort as a result of dealing with such third party information or services.
You acknowledge that you have read this agreement, understand it, and have had an opportunity to seek independent legal advice before agreeing to it.
By signing up for one of our services, attending one of our workshops or events or retreats, accessing our online content, or making any payment to us, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
By ticking a tick box agreeing to these terms and conditions on the checkout page or by the act of making a purchase through the website, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
You warrant that you have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
