In the Next Step course, we will be thinking about how to write about nature across different genres, including the personal essay, poetry and fiction. We’ll be learning that there are no limits on the kinds of genres that can constitute nature writing, and trying out new ways of bringing places, animals, plants and people alive in our writing. Perfect for if you’ve already done the Write like a Grrrl nature course! There will be a chance to share work in a safe, supportive environment and develop self-editing and feedback skills. There will also be plenty of writing exercises to get you thinking about the way we write and talk about nature, and to help your self-confidence in finding your voice.
